Obituary of Nicole Grace Thibodoux
Our beautiful daughter Nicole went home to be with the Lord on Friday evening, November 10, 2017. We had 18 wonderful years with her, even with her fighting through all the pain and surgeries from cerebral palsy. She was the toughest person we’ve ever known, always looking for a reason to laugh and giggle. We all wanted a piece of Heaven on earth with her to be healed here, but that was not God’s plan. Our hearts are broken, but we have peace knowing she is walking, talking and dancing with Jesus in Heaven right now.
She has been so blessed with all the family, friends, teachers and caregivers in her life that have given her the opportunity to live and enjoy so many opportunities. She has flown in airplanes, swam in pools and in the ocean, perched on mountains in Colorado and West Virginia, road on farms in Georgia, ridden on 4 wheelers in Pennsylvania, enjoyed the rides of Disney World, stood for the flag at parades, amen'd the messages from Pastors in St. Albans, Ebensburg, Thomaston and Morgantown. She has covered more states and put more mileage on her than some truckers! She has laughed with her wonderful friends in school from her first daycare to her middle school shop class to her high school classes. She LOVES her little sister Natalie, and Natalie LOVES her. To all of you, thank you so much for making her life so fulfilled.
Nicole was born August 7, 1999 in Charleston, WV a daughter of Joseph Eugene Thibodoux and Teresa Denise Boyt Thibodoux. In addition to her parents Nicole is survived by her loving sister Natalie Thibodoux, maternal grandparents, Gordon & Evangeline Hamby Boyt of Thomaston, GA and paternal grandparents, Whitney and Kathy Thibodoux of St. Benedict, PA., and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 841 Country Club Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505.
