Phillip Schaffer age 79 of Morgantown passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Phillip was born July 3, 1942 in Leola, SD a son of the late Philip Schaffer Sr. and Mary Swartz Schaffer.
Phillip was a retired shipping foreman at Davis-Lynch Glass and was a United States Navy veteran.
Phillip is survived by his wife Beverly Ann Hershman, two daughters, Kimberly Schaffer of Philippi and LaDonna Marie Britton of Kingwood, grandchildren, Roberta, Nikki, Chelsie, and Tyler and great grandchildren, Gabby, Hannah, and Jordy, and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover on Thursday from 10:00 am until the noon funeral service with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Entombment will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy honor guard and the Westover/Morgantown VFW.
