Steven Alan Cool, 43, of Morgantown passed away at his home on Monday, May 16, 2022. Steven was born in Morgantown on September 8, 1978 to the late Stela Flores and Gary Cool Sr. of Florida. Steven worked as a contractor in the construction industry, was a great car mechanic, and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and loved spending time with his family. Steven is survived by his wife of 22 years: Genica Dean Cool; daughter: Nevaeh Evelyn Cool; sons: Seth M. Cool and Alex N. Cool, all of Morgantown; sisters: Wendy High and Hattie Cool-Koehler; brothers: Gary Cool Jr. (Heather); step-sisters: Ronda Miller, Michelle Marshall, and Connie Hart; and a brother-in-law Rick High. Steven was preceded in death by his step mother who raised him, Delilah “Polly” Cool. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd. Westover, WV 26501. Visitation will be held at McCulla Funeral Home on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 11 am with Pastors Allen and Joseph Donham officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
