Bertha Esther Myers, age 92 of Westover passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Mon Health Medical center. Bertha was born April 2, 1929 in Donora, PA a daughter of the late James Bertalan and Ethel Peto Bertalan.
Bertha was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Riverside Apostolic Church. Bertha loved to work puzzles and cook but she especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bertha is survived by three sons, Frederick Michael (Renee) Myers of Morgantown, James Edward (Patty) Myers of South Shore, KY, Gary Allen (Shonda) Myers of Thurmond, MD, one daughter, Kathy Lynn Priemer of Hagerstown, MD, one sister Agnes Grable of Morgantown, grandchildren, Zachary, Alex, Mykell, Moriah, Joe, Holly, Daniel, and Timothy and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Jackson Myers, one sister Irene Turner, and three brothers Samuel Bertalan, Richard Bertalan, and Charles Bertalan.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Harmony of Morgantown Assisted Living Center and Mon Health Medical center for the love and care given to Bertha.
Friends may call at the River Church, 4234 Dents Run Blvd, Westover from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Nathaniel Hudson officiating.
