Shirley Ann Swanger, age 76, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Mon Health Medical Center. Shirley was born in Morgantown on July 27, 1945, a daughter of the late Norman and Mary Hess Gillum King. Shirley worked as a dietician for 40 years at Mon Health Medical Center. In her spare time, Shirley loved reading and being outdoors, especially camping. Shirley is survived by her husband of 49 years, Marvin Earl Swanger; canine friend, Angel; and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her sisters, Goldie Goodwin and Bashley King; and brother, Everett Gillum. Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 4-8 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
