To Cindy and Rogers Sons and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My mind heart and prayers have been with you as soon as I found out about Roger's illness. We all grew up here in the same neighborhood and I have a lot of fond memories from our younger days. He was a good person and will be greatly missed. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that he is in the presence of our Lord and no longer in pain. That helped us when we lost my Dad to Cancer back in 1996. He was just 57 years old when he passed. Cindy, my mom and I talked the other day and our hearts were pouring out for you because she was remembering how hard it was to lose my dad but a little relief to know the pain was gone. So please knpw you are in our hearts and if you need anything please let us know. Our continued prayers are with you all.
Sincerely,
Pamela (Gamble) Beach and Margaret Gamble

Roger is well remembered by all who knew him in the neighborhood. Our shared grief is, I hope, a comfort to you, Roger’s family, at what is recognized by his neighbors as a difficult and challenging time.
God speed, Roger. You are loved and remembered by many. <3

Deepest Sympathy Cindy and family.
Cousin childhood memories of fun may part but not the love of my heart. There were walks down the road and a country ride sitting in the back of a truck where uncle Alex and aunt Charlotte would stop at a country store and buy us all glass soda pops. We were many and we had laughs .Reunions and grandmother’s porch swing . Night crawler hunt with paper bag and flash lights, Rest In Peace.

Roger spent many hours at our family home. He was always welcome with his warm personality and easy smile. He was a busy young man, full of energy. He worked hard at his play and frequently made our Mom giggle with things he would say.
Roger was literally “the boy next door”. One summer his patient mother, Charlotte, allowed him to start a band in the basement of their home. We only sang one song: “See You in September “, but we performed it over and over and over...
Too bad it never got better, but it kept us kids seriously busy.
I to this day cannot hear nor think of that song without thinking of Roger and the summer of the band. He was probably about 14 years old at the time and we sure made a racket.
- With much love and heartfelt condolences to Roger’s family. I know he was very proud of you all.
