Betty Lou Ashworth, 78, of Morgantown, passed away at her home on June 19, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Betty was born in Big Laurel, WV on July 5, 1942 to the late Okie and Maxine Chaffin Mills. During her working days, Betty worked as an inspector for a plastic company. Betty leaves behind her husband of over 60 years, Denver Ashworth; daughters: Vickie Martinez (Joseph) of Berea, OH and Lisa Bevacqua (Dan) of Brunswick, OH; grandchildren: Anthony Martinez (Sophie), Kayla Martinez, Dalton Doak, and DJ Bevacqua; great grandson Vinny Amato; sisters: Mary Ward; brothers: Ralph Mills, Bobby Mills; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sisters: Shirley Ward, Linda Vance, Barbara Mills; brothers: Johnny Mills, Donald Mills, Joe Mills, Oakie Mills, and Billy Mills. The family will receive friends at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd. Morgantown, WV 26501 on Thursday, June 24th from 4 pm until the 7 pm service. Visitation will continue at Bogner Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039 on Friday, June 25th from 5-7 pm. Interment will take place on Saturday, June 26th at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd. Avon, Ohio 44011 at 12:30pm. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
