Obituary of Sukhwi Tutalo Schumacher

Please share a memory of Sukhwi to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sukhwi Tutalo Schumacher, 63, of Morgantown, was called home to spend eternity with her Savior on December 26, 2020. Sukhwi was born in Korea on August 28, 1957. Sukhwi worked as a teacher’s aide for Faith Baptist School on the Greenbag Road in Morgantown. Sukhwi served the Lord in many ways, spending a great deal of time investing in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and reaching those she could help lead to Christ. She attended Faith Baptist Church and Mt. Calvary Assembly of God. She found joy tending her flower garden and spending time outside on her back deck. A few of Sukhwi’s close friends enjoyed shopping together, and may have been self proclaimed “Professional Shoppers”. Sukhwi is survived by her husband, Paul Schumacher; step son PJ Schumacher (Jenn) of Greenville, SC; her mother-in-law: Jean Schumacher; and several brothers and sisters-in-law and extended family members and friends. Sukhwi was preceded in death by her first husband: Nicky Tutalo. Family and friend are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd. Morgantown, WV on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 3-5 pm. A memorial service will be held at 5 pm with Pastor Johnnie Whitehair officiating. At a later date, Sukhwi’s remains will be inurned with her first husband, Nicky Tutalo, at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, WV. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.coms
