Robert “Bert” Brian Watkins Sr., 56, of Reedsville, passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Bert was born in Morgantown to the late Charles “Wop” Watkins and Barbara Berry Watkins Martin, who survives. Bert worked as an electrician at Gerrick Electric. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, mainly camping, fishing, canoeing, or working on his car. His greatest joy was found in spending time with his family and he was most proud to have served his country in the United States Army National Guard. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter: Amanda Marie Titchenell and her husband Luke of Reedsville; son: Robert Brian Watkins, Jr. and his wife Ashley of Morgantown; grandchildren: Summer Dawn Titchenell, Autom Rein Titchenell, Zander Brian Watkins, Zavier Allen Watkins, and Zuri Belle Watkins; sister: JoEllen Baker and her husband Greg; brother: Ricky Watkins and his wife Diane; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to his father, Bert was preceded in death by his grandson: Donovan Tyler Titchenell. Family will receive friends at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road Morgantown, WV, on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 10 am until the 12 pm funeral service.
