Judith “Judy” Ann Bissett, 70, of Morgantown passed away at her home on Monday, May 31, 2021. Judy was born in Morgantown on June 16, 1950 to the late James and Jessie Heston Smallwood. Judy spent her time caring for her family at home and found her greatest joy spending time with her family. Judy leaves behind her sons: Richard A. Bissett (Shaundra) of Morgantown and David Bissett (Marsha) of Reedsville; grandchildren: Cody Bissett, Garrett Bissett, and Riley Bissett; great granddaughter: Mariah Bissett; sister: Carol Forman of New York and Bonnie McCabe of Morgantown; brothers: Don Smallwood, Ed Smallwood, and Roy Smallwood; a niece and caregiver: Sharon Frum; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Bissett; brothers: Denny Smallwood, James “Bud” Smallwood, Larry Smallwood, Daniel “Danny” Smallwood; and a sister-in-law Carol Smallwood. Family and friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd., Morgantown, on Thursday, June 3rd from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service with Rev. Dr. David Spence officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery.
