Edward Darrell Murray age 66 of Morgantown passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at WVU Medicine. Ed was born March 30, 1955 in Logan, WV a son of the late Bueal Murray and Arlene Smith Murray. Ed had worked for Davis-Lynch Glass for over 39 years. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. He enjoyed playing pool and was known as “The Captain” and loved spending time with his family. Ed is survived by his longtime companion and caregiver Carol McCormick, one daughter Heather, one son Jamie, three grandsons, Jay, Michael, and Douglas and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma, and three brothers, Randall, Danny and Mike. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 10 am until the noon funeral service with Pastor Raymond Morris officiating.
