Rudolph Paul Dluhy, age 88 of Morgantown passed away Sunday, May 9,2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Rudy was born April 17, 1933 in Vandergrift, PA a son of the late Joseph Dluhy and Elizabeth Dluhy. Rudy was a United States Air Force veteran and retired as a superintendent from Schnabel Foundation and Earth Support Systems after thirty years of service. Rudy loved to play bingo, enjoyed watching sports on TV and taking his riding mower out to cut grass. Rudy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rosemary Annette Ullery Dluhy, three daughters, Debbie Seymour and Terri (John) Adams both of Morgantown, and Rita (Curt) Ayers of Greenback, TN, two sons Joe (Gail) Dluhy of O’Fallon, IL and Ken (Jeanie) Dluhy of Smithsburg, MD, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his four beloved pets. Rudy was preceded in death by one son Tom Clark, brother, Tom Dluhy, and sisters Lilly, Margaret, and Betty. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown on Wednesday, May 12 from 10:00 am until noon. Funeral services will be held at noon with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow at the WV National Cemetery at Pruntytown with military honors conferred by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the United States Air Force.
