Dorothy Elizabeth Kifer, 95, of Morgantown, left this life behind to go and be her Lord and Saviors Valentine, February 14, 2021. Dorothy was born in Westernport, MD to the late George and Lula Miller. Dorothy married Walter Kifer and moved to Morgantown and has resided here the rest of her days. She is survived by eight of her ten children: Robert Kifer of Morgantown, Michael Kifer (Mary Ann) of Cameron Park, CA, Jim Kifer (Pat) of Morgantown, Linda Marquess (Melvin) of Morgantown, Donna Tennant (Steve) of Fairview, Judy Kifer of Morgantown, Rhonda Moore of Morgantown, and Shirley Kifer of Laramie, WY; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Walter Kifer, son: Joseph Kifer, daughter: Sharon Harley and son-in-law: Rodney Hartley. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She lived a hard life, but she passed her strength and wisdom on to all of her family. She will be missed greatly. She was our matriarch, the strongest woman any of us will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Family and friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 11 am until the funeral service at 12 pm with Pastor Jason Sheffstall officiating.
