Obituary of Maymie Belle Schiffbauer

Maymie Belle “Sister” Schiffbauer age 98 of Morgantown passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her home. Maymie was born May 16, 1922 in Maidsville a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Isenhart and Carrie Wilson Isenhart.
Maymie had worked as the manager and cook at Agways Restaurant in Osage and also at the Monongalia Hospital Laundry. She was also a member of the Pierpont Church of the Nazarene.
Maymie enjoyed music and as a teenager, she played and sang with her family on WAJR. In her spare time Maymie enjoyed sewing, hooking rugs, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, and cooking-no one went hungry at her house. She loved cats, dogs, and feeding the birds
Maymie possessed a wonderful sense of humor and was a wonderful encourager to her granddaughters to share their talents and went to as many of their competitions, concerts and plays as she could.
Maymie is survived by her son, Earl and wife Karen Schiffbauer, her daughter, Cheryl and husband Rick Rudash and her granddaughter, Elisabeth Schiffbauer all of Morgantown.
Maymie was preceded in death by her husband of nearly fifty years, Albert L. Schiffbauer in 2001, her granddaughter, Stephanie Rudash in 2015 and brothers Merle, Earl, and Deryl Isenhart.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown from 3-5 & 6-8 pm Friday, January 22 and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Mike Lyons of Uniontown Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnwood Cemetery. Due to CDC and state COVID guidelines masks must be worn and social distancing practiced in the funeral home.
