Karen L. Wilson, age 79, of Daybrook, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Mon General Hospital. Karen was born May 1, 1941 in Sugar Lane near Rivesville, WV, a daughter of the late Harry Michael, Sr. and Esther Arnett Michael. Karen was a member of the Daybrook Methodist Church. She retired from Mon General as an A.C.C. Karen is survived by one son, Stephen Wilson of Daybrook; one daughter, Donna and Tobi Collins of Charlestown, WV; two granddaughters, Amber and Joe Kavlick and Amanda and Chris Tennant; six great grandchildren; sisters, Brenda and Barry Smith, Wilda Michael, Helen and Alan Oser, Janet Michael; brother, Harry and Emma Michael; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Glenn Wilson; one brother, Lawrence Michael; and two sisters, Frances Hamilton and Ivy Michael. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Daybrook Methodist Church 2552 Daybrook Road Fairview, WV 26570. Friends may call at Daybrook Methodist Church on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service with Pastor Fred Eddy officiating. Burial will follow at Daybrook Cemetery.
