John Anthony Orinick age 67 of Chaplin Road, Morgantown passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, November 11, 2020 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born February 22, 1953 in Morgantown a son of the late Andrew “Andy” Orinick and Myrtle Columbus Orinick. John was employed as an electrician with the coal mines for over thirty-five years. John possessed many skills and was truly a “Jack of all trades.” He was an expert mechanic and a collector of antique cars. He enjoyed traveling with Christy and making memories together and on a nice summer day he could be found on the lake boating or playing golf. John is survived by his wife of forty-six years Christy Agresti Orinick, two sons, Mark Orinick (Nativa) and Christopher Orinick all of Morgantown, one sister-in-law Patricia Orinick of Morgantown and two grand dogs, Cooper and Bump. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by one brother, Andrew Orinick and his father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Sharen Agresti. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover from 5-8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 masks and social distancing will be enforced. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
