Obituary of Carl Gene Webber

Carl Gene Webber, Sr. age 71 of Core entered into rest at home while in the company of his family, on Saturday, July 18, 2015. He was born March 26, 1944 in Osage a son of the late Stephen D. Webber and Maude Kenyon Webber. Carl was a boss for Consolidation Coal Company at Osage # 3 and Arkwright and was a member of the Riverside Apostolic Church. Carl was a loving husband, dad, pappy, brother, and uncle. Carl is survived by his loving wife, Dottie Lou Webber, of 50 years, which was celebrated by renewing their wedding vows last October 21st, two sons, Carl G. Webber, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Core and Matthew D. Webber and wife Kelly of Core, two daughters, D. Michelle “Missy” Bowen and husband Thomas of Core and Pamela D. Darling and husband Joseph of Core, nine grandchildren, Tommy, Gabrielle, Briana, Luke, Devin, Morgan, Kaitlin, Meridith, and Reagan “Poohda”, and one brother, Arthur “Butch” Webber. Carl was preceded in death by brothers, Stephen D., David P., and Stephen F. and sisters Elsie Jean, Patty, Ruthie, Jackie, Imogene, and Judy. Friends may call at the Riverside Apostolic Church from 4-9 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Bishop David M. Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery. McCulla Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
