Obituary of Norma Jean Trivett

Norma Jean Trivett, age 83, of River Road, Morgantown passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born September 13, 1937 in Everettville, a daughter of the late William and Mildred Uphold.
Norma was a longtime CNA at Sundale Nursing Home. She loved collecting old oil lamps and wind chimes. Norma was a kind and giving person, who loved taking care of her family and her canine companion, Patty.
Norma is survived by one daughter, Barbara Bower of Morgantown, three sons, Bill E. Trivett, Jr. (Kelly) of Morgantown, David Trivett (Tammy Walker) of Morgantown and Donald Trivett (Kimberly) of Morgantown, one sister, Jane Spadafore of Morgantown, one brother, Ronald Uphold of Morgantown, special friend, Ellie Dunn, grandchildren, Tracy Van Meter (Derek), Jack Vance, Kevin Dalton (Laura), Teresa McMillion (Jeff), Melissa McKenzie (James), Tia Towns (Eric), Samantha Trivett, David Trivett (Sarah Baglenater), Britney Bower, James Trivett, Brandon Trivett (Amanda), Michael Tucker, Tiffany Trivett, and Molly Tucker; and great grandchildren, Hannah, Chase, Garret, Donovan, Riley, JuliAnna, Kaydence, Stephanie, Emily, Brycien, Trinity, Blake, Skyler, Ashton, Braidon, Ashlyn, Addy, Arlen, Onyx, Brantley, and Abi.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Trivett, Sr., two sons, Richard Trivett and Ronald Trivett, two brothers, Bucky and Robert Uphold, and two sisters, Patricia Newbraugh and Karen Bennett.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road from 4-8 pm Thursday and on Friday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with grandson James Trivett and Pastor Isaac Harmon officiating. Following CDC guidelines for COVID-19, masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Burial will follow at Arnettsville Cemetery.
