Obituary of Harry Sterling

Harry Carl Sterling, Jr., age 91, of Pickerington, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born June 24, 1929 in Morgantown to the late Harry Carl and Ida Agnes (McVicker) Sterling. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force (Korea), and was retired from CNG (Consolidated Natural Gas). He previously worked for Rockwell International and Sterling Faucet. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Sylvia Lee Sterling in 2019; brother, David G. (Edna) Sterling; and sister, Mary Theo (Paul) Deem. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Tom Lindsay) Sterling; grandsons, Braden Powell and Holden Powell; granddaughters-in-love, Carly Pearce and Mena Malimar; sister, Maddie Virginia Maddox; brother-in-law, Carm (Jeanne) Massanopoli; lifelong friend, Don Corwin; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Friends may visit 11 am to 1 pm Saturday at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd., Morgantown, where funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Interment after at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will also receive friends 3-5 pm Saturday, September 5 at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Rd N (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, OH 43147.
