Obituary of Carey E. Kenyon

A beloved Mother, Daughter, Granddaughter, Sister, Niece, Cousin, Aunt and friend, Carey Kenyon left this world unexpectedly, at 33, on August 1, 2020. She was born on May 15, 1987 in Morgantown, WV. Carey was a 2006 graduate of University High School. She was employed at the Westover McDonalds where she was excited and proud to begin her recent promotion as a manager. Carey had her unique way to make her presence in a room known, and often left you in laughter. When you think of Carey, celebrate the good memories you have of her.
Left to carry on her memory are her two young children, daughter Aubria Hope Kenyon age 10, and son Mailak Michaelo Marone age 3, her loving and devoted mother, Lanie Panico-Martisko and stepfather, Chad Martisko, father, Marty Kenyon, her twin sister, Randal Kenyon and sister, Maia Martisko, nephews, Cayden Kenyon and JJ Sheffield all of Morgantown.
She will also be deeply missed and forever loved by her maternal grandparents, Richard “Dick” and Carla Jo Panico of Westover, maternal aunts and uncles, Rick Panico and Lisa Panico both of Westover and Joe and Cathy Panico of Morgantown, and Candy Stout of Riverside CA,
paternal step grandfather, James “Eddie” Connell of Ladson SC, paternal aunts and uncles, Dave and Melissa Sackett of Nashville, Arkansas, and William “Bill” and Mary Sackett of Texarkana, Arkansas, along with several loving cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Gloria Wolfe of Morgantown, paternal great grandparents, William “Bill” and Ruth Kenyon of Westover, grandmother, Beverly JoAnn Connell of Ladson SC, and beloved cousin, Nicholas Panico of Morgantown.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home for the family to create a memorial garden in Carey’s memory, at 770 Fairmont Rd. Morgantown, WV 26501.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 3-5 pm and from 6 pm until the time of service at 7:30 pm with Pastor Daniel Strosnider officiating. Due to COVID-19, CDC guidelines will be followed and a mask must be worn. McCulla Funeral Home is in charge of cremation services after the service and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com
