Harold James Richards, 91, of Morgantown passed away on June 2, 2020 at Morgantown Health & Rehab. He was born in Lake Lynn, PA on April 5, 1929 to the late Charles Guthrie Richards and Ida Mae Zooner Richards. Harold worked as a custodian for 20 years at West Virginia University. He enjoyed WVU football, WVU gear, and was an avid WVU fan. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Harold is survived by step daughters: Sherry Poling (Skip) of Morgantown, Donna McBee (Richard) of Rivesville, Penny Harwood of Morgantown, and Samantha Conner of Sabraton; step sons: Lee Conner (Susan) of Shinnston, Donnie Conner (Shannon) of Grafton Road, and Ronnie Conner of Grafton Road; a brother: Jerry Richards (Marie) of Morgantown; his dog: Gidget; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife Rosemarie Edna Conner Richards; step daughters: Tammy Conner and Mary Conner Hunt; step sons: Clifford Corob (Tiny) and Edward Conner; sisters: Mary Brand, Shirley Merifield, Emma Miller, and Minnie Clark; brothers: Charles Richards Raymond Richards, Robert “Bob” Richards, and Melvin Richards.
