Obituary of Virginia J. Myers-McCabe

Virginia J Myers-McCabe, 86y, went home to be with her Lord and Savior April 5, 2020 at her loving caregiver’s son Michael and wife Debi Myers home, surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born December 02, 1933, at Vincent Pallotti Hospital in Morgantown WV. to Clarence “Dutch” and Pearl Baldwin Harvey.
Virginia attended Clay Battelle Highschool. She worked at Davis and Lynch as a painter. Montgomery Ward, and WT Grants as a Fashion Consultant and for many years as a caretaker of the elderly.
Virginia was married to Bishop Merle M. Myers for 56yrs until his passing. Virginia remarried to Earl McCabe for 4yrs until his passing.
Virginia served her Lord and Savior at Zoar House of Prayer with her husband, Bishop Merle M. Myers. She was an intercessor for all she held close to her heart. Her life revolved around her family, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She is survived by her Children C. Michael Myers (Debi), daughter Mary Ann Harmon (Jim), Daughter Merlene Shafer (Marvin), Daughter Diane Henry, Daughter Ranae Clark (Chuck), daughter Jenny Hartley Kennedy (Bill). Brother Robert Harvey (Joyce) of Ohio, Brother Joel Harvey Core WV, Sister Jackie Elliott Bell (John) Dents Run WV, Sister in Law Rose of PA, 17 Grandchildren, 40 Great-grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her true Love Merle M Myers, 2nd husband Earl McCabe, Brothers- Donnie Harvey, Junior Harvey (Patti), Keith Harvey, Kenny Harvey (Geneva). Sisters Eyleen Harvey Paugh (Donald), Colleen Harvey Sprendio (Donald). Brother in law William Elliott, Sister in law Betty Elliott Harvey, Son in law Randy Hartley, granddaughter Jessica Shepard, Grandson Shawn Allen Myers.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to WV Caring Hospice for all the love and support given to Virginia and her family. You will never be forgotten.
In Leu of flowers the family is asking for donations be made in her Honor to Zoar House of Prayer in care of Pastor Barbara Hamrick 1020 Kingwood Pike Morgantown WV 26508.
