Gary, l wanted to express my sympathy to you in the passing of your dad. I will always remember him as such a sweet and caring man. He came to welcome us to the neighborhood the first day we moved in; leaving his phone number in case he could help in anyway. When my husband was able to sit on the deck, he and your dad would talk/holler back and forth to each other. Richard would carry our trash cans back, after weekly pick up. When I would "catch him" and tell him he didn't have to do that, he would say, "that's my job"!! He would always tell me to have a good day, when I saw him out with his dog. I will never forget, and will try to practice, one of the best things that he ever told me was how to have a good day...he said, "YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT A GOOD DAY"!! He was a dear Christian man and I will miss seeing him, but one day we will meet again and sing praises to our Savior for all eternity!! May the Lord bless you. Penny Rowe. Tim passed away last month.
