Evelyn Sweetnich, 95, of Morgantown passed away at her home on January 6, 2020. She was born in Philippi, WV on August 9, 1924 to the late Roy and Tippie Corley Compton.
Evelyn was a seamstress for Morgan Shirt Factory for 30 years.
She is survived by a brother, Paul Compton; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, George Sweetnich; brothers: Albert, James “Red”, and Larry Compton; sisters: Ercelene Newhouse and Betty Pieri.
