Obituary of Thomas Dalton

Thomas Ray Dalton, age 75, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Mon Health Medical Center with his family by his side. Tom was born in Preston County on May 6, 1944, a son of the late Carl Thomas Dalton and Maxine Pauline Rechart Dalton. Tom worked in reclamation for Americoal Mining for 26 years. In his free time, Tom enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and carpentry work. He was Apostolic by faith. Tom is survived by his wife, Janet Elaine Deavers Dalton; daughter, Sarina Rene Dalton of Morgantown; son, Thomas Ray Dalton, II (Amanda) of Morgantown; brother, Mark Dalton; grandchildren Ashley Morris (Rick), Abagail Dalton and companion James Rogers, and Lena Dalton; great grandchildren, Bowyn and James; and sisters-in-law, Beverly and Rhonda Dalton. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Dalton and Roger Dalton; and sister-in-law, Sara Dalton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to a charity of your choice. Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Thursday, December 26, from 2-4pm & 6-8pm and again on Friday, from 10am until the 11am service with Revs. Allen and Joseph Donham officiating.
