Obituary of Pollyann Kovalcheck

Pollyann “Bubba” Kovalcheck, 77, of Dents Run, Granville, died Sunday, December 8, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born August 5, 1942, in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Pete, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Reseter.

Pollyann was a member of St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church.

Pollyann was a good wife and devoted mother. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid flower gardener, and loved walking. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Pollyann is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, John Michael Kovalcheck; two sons, John David Kovalcheck and wife Dawn and Steven Kovalcheck, all of Granville; three grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Kovalcheck, Gavin Michael Kovalcheck, both of Granville, and Jacob Christopher Grim of Mt. Morris, PA; two sisters, Nancy Jean (Reseter) Smith and husband Fred of Granville and Mary Elizabeth (Reseter)  Warsewich of Morgantown; one brother, Pete Reseter, Jr. of Stevenson, WA; lifetime friend, JoAnn Kun of Granville; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and again on Thursday, from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com
