Obituary of Barbara Ann Mayle

Barbara Ann Mayle, age 87 of Brookhaven went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at her home.  She was born March 11, 1932 in Morgantown a daughter of the late Louis Brooks and Maxine Howard Brooks Vance.

Barbara had lived in Garden City, Michigan and was an active member of the Garden City Free Methodist Church and was employed at the local hospital.

Barbara was a wonderful and loving wife and mother who enjoyed family gatherings.  She enjoyed gardening and watching and feeding the birds.  Barbara possessed a compassionate, giving heart and always saw the best in people.  Her faith was very important to Barbara and she was an active member of the Living by Faith Church in Brookhaven.

Barbara is survived by two daughters, Cheri Skingley of Morgantown and Cathy (Jerry) Gohl of Garden City, MI, one son Kent (Carole) Mayle of Core and one brother, John Vance Jr. of Morgantown.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Harold Gordon Mayle, one brother Karl L. Brooks and one sister, Rosalie Brooks.

Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover from 4-8 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Andy Fominko officiating.  Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
