Obituary of Martha Spangler

Martha Spangler, age 90, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family. Martha was born in Morgantown on March 30, 1929, a daughter of the late John Davis Jones, Sr. and Virginia May Davis Jones.

During her working years, Martha worked at McCroys 5 & 10 and Sterling Faucet. She was a member of the Westover Women’s Club, Eastern Star 422 Michigan and American Business Women’s Association of Dearborn, MI. Martha also attended Living by Faith Church in Brookhaven.

Martha is survived by her sister-in-law, Lorena May Jones of Westover; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Spangler in 1992; and her brother brother, John D. Jones, Jr.

The family wishes to thank WV Caring Hospice, Mapleshire Nursing and Rehab Center, Wanda Hess, and Becky Tasker for all of the love and care given to Martha and her family in their time of need.

Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Friday, November 29 from 2-6 pm and again on Saturday, from 10 until the 11 am funeral service with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
