Obituary of Wayne William Pifer
Wayne William Pifer age 56 of Morgantown passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at his home. He was born November 23, 1962 in Trenton, NJ a son of Lawrence Pifer of Martinsburg and the late Donna Breining Pifer.
Wayne was employed as the general manager of the Mountain Line Transit Authority. He loved sports especially football and golf. Wayne was also a Star Trek fan and loved going to Disneyworld.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the nurses and aides from WV Caring Hospice for the kindness shown to Wayne and his family.
In addition to his father, Wayne is survived by his wife, Kimberly Minnig Pifer, two daughters, Taryn Pifer of Pittsburgh and Kira Pifer of Morgantown, one sister, Christine Pifer and one brother, Lawrence (Tara) Pifer Jr., his step-mother, Lucille Black Pifer, mother and father-in-law, John and Florence Minnig, sisters-in-law, Cherri Minnig and Faith Zenker and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
