Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of JoAnn Olivito Birurakis. Having known the Birurakis family over 50 years we know how vital a part JoAnn was in each of your lives. Her strong work ethic in many local businesses was passed on to each of her six children. Louis and JoAnn were always sen as a couple and JoAnn best described as establishing a sense of place for not only all of her family, husband Louism relatives and umerous friends, for Home is place and all knew that if ever help was needed in Soth Park, JoAnn and Luis ‘s home was that sense of place, a refuge and also a place of abundant love, compassion, caring for the Lord, one another , the City, State, USA and world.Filled with abundant laughter, big smiles, great stories, JoAnn, Luuis pair were always supportive of their children and grandchildren and great grand chidren and great great grandchildren’s endeavors with importance recognized for education ad learning. While attending MJHS and MHS with Cathy and also being in MHS Red and Blue Mohigan band in the late 1970s , JoAnn and Louis always supported and attended band and school functions.Their presence and participation was a part of us all growing up in Morgantown, WV. My mom MHS Class of 1943 one year older than JoAnn shared mutual friends and experiences having seen much change and many people over all those years,One constant was love, faith, hope and sense of place Home. May JoAnn now rest at Home and though her address physically has changed that constant remains in the hearts and minds of all who knew and honor knowing JoAnn, Louis and their wonderful family. Blessings to all. May many memories continue to comfort.gain to Louis, Cathy and rest of immediate family and friends our love and prayers and know many share your loss and celebrate rich life and legacy of JoAnn now and always.
