Obituary of Phyllis Jean Glover

Phyllis Jean Glover, 85, of Morgantown passed away at her home with her family by her side on August 8, 2019. Phyllis was born in Fairmont, on February 16, 1934 to the late Carl and Eleanor Walker.

Phyllis was a homemaker who worked tirelessly caring for her family and found great joy in caring for her grandchildren. Phyllis loved working crossword puzzles, baking homemade bread, canning, and painting. Phyllis had a green thumb and took pride in her flower and vegetable garden.  Above all, Phyllis will be remembered for being such a hard worker.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters: Joyce Buchanan (Darrell) of Dilliner, PA, Sally Park (Randy Blaney) of Hagans; sons: Carl Ray Glover (Linda) of Morgantown and Kenny Glover (Robin Karnes) of River Road; sisters: Sheila, Darlene, and Vivian; brothers: Ronnie, Harmon, Delbert, and Frank; thirteen grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Glover; son Robert Glover; one great grandson, Ezekiel Watson; and several brothers and sisters.

Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 13, from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating.
