Leon "Spock" Utt, 63, of Snake Hill Road, was born July 9, 1955, in Sutton. Son of Mary Dean.  Husband of 43 years to Vickie Payne Utt, left in the arms of angels on March 11, 2019, surrounded by family.

Spock was the father of Amy and Andy Utt. He was also a father figure to his grandchildren and so many more. There will never be enough words to describe how great of a man Spock was.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Dean, and stepfather, Garland Dean; wife, Vickie Payne Utt; daughter, Amy Utt; son, Andy Utt.; grandchildren, Kiana Lemley, Isaiah Utt, Jada Utt, Adam and Morgan; great-granddaughters, Monroe and Amelia; his siblings, Linda, Janet, Kay, Dollie, Brenda, Mary, Alfredia, Cathy, Rick, and Randy.  As well as John, Debi, Jeff, and Rozan; and many nieces and nephews; family members; and friends who always had a place to stay at Spock and Smurf's.

He was preceded in death by his grandma and grandpa, Lula and Callie Barnett and his in-laws Walter and Myrtle Payne.

Per Spock's request, his memorial celebration will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.
