Obituary of Philip Caruso, Jr.
Philip Caruso Jr. age 54 of Westover passed away suddenly, Monday, February 25, 2019 at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born April 26, 1964 in Morgantown a son of the late Philip and Delores Vaquer Caruso.
Phil attended WVU and received tutelage from a Master Chef at Cross Creek Country Club in Titusville, PA. Phil was a contractor and managed housing rental operations. He was also a chef and loved following basketball, especially family friend Shelby Boyle. He also coached youth baseball for over 30 years.
Philip is survived by his nephew, Brian (Whitney) Walden of Morgantown and their children Brooks and Brynn, niece Tiffany Walden of Los Angeles, brother-in-law, Gary Walden of Morgantown, and several other loving family members.
In addition to his parents Philip was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Walden.
Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Sunday, March 3rd from 5-8 pm and again on Monday from 10 am until the 11 am funeral with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
