Obituary of Lawrence "Larry" Shea

Lawrence “Larry” Albert Shea age 80 of Morgantown passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.  He was born May 14, 1938 in New York City a son of the late Lawrence F. Shea and Eva Hicks Shea.

Larry was a retired truck driver and a United States Navy Veteran.  Larry enjoyed building model cars and working in his garden.  He was also an avid reader and history buff.

Larry is survived by his wife Judith Rhodes Shea, two daughters, Tammy Wiese of Hollywood, FL and Kim Marie Shea of Florida, one brother Richard Earl Shea of Florida, grandchildren, Kellie Howard, Richie Wiese of Hollywood, FL and Nicole Shea-Finneyfrock of Oakland MD, and one great grandson Paul Lambert IV.

Larry was preceded in death by his two sons, Lawrence Shea and David Shea.

Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-5 pm Sunday and on Monday from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating.  Burial will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown with military honors provided by United States Navy funeral honors and the Taylor County VFW honor guard.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
