Obituary of Ronald Lee Flowers

Ronald L. “Pappy”  “Moss” Flowers age 73, of Brookhaven Road, Morgantown passed away peacefully Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends.  He was born October 12, 1945 in Morgantown, a son of the late Max Flowers and Beatrice Myrtle Shipley Flowers.

Ron had been employed as a baker for Ray’s Pastries and then Morgantown Insulation.  He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding and working on his motorcycles.

Ron is survived by his son Stevie Flowers and wife Michelle of Morgantown, grandchildren Curtis Chipps and Maddie Dalton, great grandchildren, Brooke Chipps, Grace Dalton, and James Dalton, bonus grandchildren Aleece Fox, Trista Pervola and husband Joe, Anthony Fata and wife Adrianna, bonus great grandchildren, Joseph Pervola, Miss Ava Pervola and Gavin Aaron Shuff.

Ron was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester Flowers and Max Flowers

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Amedisys Hospice for the love and care given to Ron and his family.

Family and friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday with Bishop William Page officiating.  McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation services following the service and online condolences may be sent to the family at McCulla.com.
