Obituary of Crystal Smerka

Crystal Leann Smerka, 39, of Westover, passed away on October 28, 2018. Crystal was born in Morgantown on September 13, 1979 to the late Robert L. Smerka and Julie Hall.

Crystal worked at Sams Club as a clerk. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

Crystal is survived by her daughters, Alexis Miller of Reedsville, Lindsey Dragovich of Morgantown, and Payton Upton of Vanderbilt, PA; sister Sheri Rice and her husband Jeremy of Maidsville; maternal grandparents; David & Dorothy Bunnell; and one grandchild due in March; nephew Matthew Smerka, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Crystal was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John & Fayadeane Smerka, and Aunt Gladys Smerka Walls.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McCulla Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses.
