Steve Mogus, age 87, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Golden Living Center. Steve was born on December 6, 1927, a son of the late Andy and Bertha Kish Mogus. Steve worked as a coal miner and was a member of the UMWA. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his animals. Steve is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Stewart of FL and Mary Harder of OK; brothers, John Mogus of Westover, and Andy Mogus of OK; and several nieces and nephews including those who helped him in his time of need, Sue Core, Sandra Dement, and Deborah Mogus. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Mogus; sister, Sue Cole; and brothers, Louis Mogus, Charlie Mogus, and Joe Mogus. Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Friday, October, 9, 2015 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
