Obituary of Miriam A. Steele

Miriam Amanda Steele age 85 of Maidsville, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at Point Manor Nursing Home.   She was born July 27, 1933 in Morgantown a daughter of the late Carl Wade and Nellie McCord Welch.

Miriam had been employed as an Orthopedic LPN for over 25 years and attended the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle.

Miriam is survived by her husband, George Ronald Steele, four daughters, Vickie Parrotta and husband KoKo of Morgantown, Helen Walls and husband Tom of Morgantown, Terry Steele of Fairmont and Sandy Huggins of Morgantown, one sister, Eileen Riley of Westover, a daughter-in-law, Marcie Steele, thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Miriam was preceded in death by her two sons, Mark Steele and Dennis Steele; and a daughter-in-law, Karen Steele.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Point Manor for the love and care given to Miriam.
