He has been employed as an executive healthcare administrator at Monongahela Valley Association (Fairmont), the Peter M. Kervens was a devoted parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Star City.  Additionally, he was an active member with the Westover Rotary Club where he served as President and recently became a Paul Harris Fellow. Kervens enjoyed composing his own music on the piano, rooting for the Mountaineers, dominating at fantasy football, playing golf and finding ways to better himself, but his greatest pleasure was in being a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

In addition to his parents, Kervens is survived by his wife, Heather Long Brun, his five month old daughter, Isla Noelle, and his sister Trisha Junie Brun of Spring Valley, New York.
