Obituary of John E. Payne
John Edward Payne, 53, of Pursglove entered into Heaven to be with his Savior on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. John was born in Morgantown on January 3, 1965 to Edward Lee and Barbara Ann Raley Payne of Morgantown.
John worked at Mylan for 22 years as a material handler. John was a member of Kingdom EMC where he enjoyed attending and worshipping with his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed coaching his children’s basketball teams, and served as an Assistant Girls Westwood Basketball coach.
In addition to his parents, John is survived by his wife Jennifer Yates Payne; daughters; Larissa Payne and her fiancée Josh Redelman of Houston, TX and Miranda Payne of Morgantown; son; Wesley Payne of Pittsburgh; maternal grandmother: Alice Raley of Cassville; sister; Jennifer Forbes and her husband Todd of Morgantown; brother; Jeff Payne and his wife Paula of Canonsburg, PA; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jackie and Ruth Yates; and many nieces, nephews, extended in-law family, and friends.
The family wishes to thank the employees of Mylan for their support, as well as Chris Yanero, Rick Rice, and Ron Enoff for everything they have done in support of the family. Also, a special thanks to his Healthsouth therapists Steve and Beth, they appreciate everything they did for John and his recovery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Source Lunchbox Program at Kingdom EMC, 540 Fairmont Rd. Westover, WV 26501.
Friends are invited to gather in support of the family at Kingdom EMC, 540 Fairmont Rd., Westover, WV on Tuesday, May 22, 2017 from 4 pm until the memorial service at 7 pm with Rev.
