Obituary of Gladys Kathryn Fox

Gladys K. Fox, age 93, of Westover, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at Mon Health Medical Center. Gladys was born in Morgantown on October 10, 1924, a daughter of the late Leonard and Clarise Hacker Craig.

Gladys was an excellent quilter and enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She was best known for her delicious salt rising bread. She was a loving homemaker who will be missed by many.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Kathryn L. Fox of Westover; son, Dale Fox and wife Rhonda of Morgantown; granddaughter/daughter, Schellie Ayars and husband Dr. Todd of TX; great grandson, Jacob Dale of TX; sister, Margaret Nutter of FL; sisters-in-law, Betty Craig of Four States, WV, Myrna Craig of PA, and Jean Craig of NJ; brother-in-law, Eddy Smith of Mt. Morris, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert D. Fox; sisters, Cassandra Craig, who died in infancy, Mary Jane Butterbaugh, and Betty Smith; and  seven  brothers, George, Claude, Ross, Raymond, Phil, Bill, and Bob Craig.

Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2pm to 7pm and on Monday, May 7th from 10 am until the 11am funeral service with Pastor Barbara Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com
