Bradley R. Crow, of Morgantown, went to be with his Lord and wife, Betty, on April 21, 2018. Brad was born on August 5, 1933 in Fish Creek (Marshall County), the son of the late Barney O. and Rena Blake Crow.

Bradley was retired from Hope Gas Co. after 41 years and 6 months of service.

At the age of 15, his country music career started when he played and sang on Moundsville radio stations and appeared in TV presentations.

Brad was a charter member of the Golden Circle Country Music Honor Society and received a certificate from the WV House of Delegates for his contribution to country music. He was inducted into the WV Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum in 2014 which honored him for over 50 years of contributions to country music.

Brad both sang and wrote songs to be enjoyed which led to the formation of his band “Brad Crow & the Cutups”.

Brad was also an avid coon hunter and horseman. He was a member of the American Donkey & Mule Society Inc. and enjoyed raising and showing his mules and horses.

Brad also had a heart for giving, and sponsored children for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Brad is survived by his sister, Gladys Eilene Dobbs of Moundsville; special friend, Charlie Hysen of Florida; step daughters, Pat Eastone of Huntington and Jodie Burgess of Morgantown; his beloved Bishon, “BB”; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Brad was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Crow in 2016; three brothers, Hoy Crow, Homer Crow, and Ray Crow in infancy; five sisters, Geneva Evans, Alice Burkart, Nora Pyles, Geraldine Buzzard, and Imogene Blake.
