Obituary of Sophia Newbraugh
Sophia “Sophie” Lauren Newbraugh, 61, of Morgantown passed away at her home on Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was born in Darlington, SC on July 24, 1956 to the late George Morgan and Ethelene Strickland Morgan.
Sophie was a homemaker and attended Lighthouse “TLC” Church.
Sophie is survived by her daughters, Wilda Newbraugh and Jennifer Newbraugh; grandchildren: Aja, Dayton, Brandon, and Samuel Newbraugh; sisters Elaine McCardle and her husband Jimmy, Sarah Estle, brothers: David Morgan and Allen Estle and his wife Virginia.
In addition to her parents, Sophie is preceded in death by her brother George Morgan and his wife Penny.
McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services.
