Obituary of Patricia "Joey" Lunden

Patricia Lynn "Joey" Lunden, 72, of Morgantown passed away December 24, 2017 after an extended illness.

Joey was born in Morgantown, WV on August 17, 1945, the daughter of Carl J. Lunden and Geraldine Davey Lunden.

She was a graduate of Grafton WV High School with the class of 1963. After graduation, she attended Grace College and Fairmont State College. Joey had a long and successful career in finance and business administration. Her career took her to Charleston, WV, San Francisco, New York City, Phoenix, and back to Morgantown. She retired from Mon Valley Integration in 2016.

Of all her jobs, the one most dear to her heart was the one she fondly called "Radio", the West Virginia Radio Corporation, where she served as credit manager for ten years. She loved to talk "radio" and there she left behind many dear friends.

Joey's first love was her career, but she also loved international travel, Arizona and the sun, reading, and a good Irish coffee.

Joey is survived by her brother James Lunden and his wife Kathy; one nephew, Ian Lunden and his wife Sara; grandniece and nephew, Braeden and Julia; all of Morgantown. She also leaves behind her dear friend, Donna Tubolino, also of Radio. She was preceded in death by her parents.

As per Joey's wishes, there will be no visitations or services.
