Obituary of Eddie Stolzenbach

Eddie E. Stolzenbach, 71, of Morgantown passed away at Mon General Hospital on October 11, 2017. He was born in Baltimore, MD on April 30, 1946.

Following his graduation from Southern High School in Oakland, MD, he served in the United States Army from 1967-1970, which enabled him to travel to Austria, France, and other locations. Following his service to our country, he worked at Giant Eagle for several years and worked in the packaging department at Mylan for 29 years. He was an avid Mountaineer & Steelers fan.

Eddie is survived by his son: Chad Stolzenbach and his wife April Kaull Stolzenbach of Morgantown; his daughter, Nicole Stolzenbach and her husband Steven Miller of Morgantown; the mother of his children, Jill Stolzenbach Thomas; two brothers Henry and Charlie; his cats who he adored: Sonny and Susie; and his grandpets: Haley, Molly, Rudy, & Yuki.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Meals on Wheels, 3375 University Ave. Morgantown, WV 26505 for their service and dedication to Eddie.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Care Partners Home Health for their compassionate care extended to Eddie in his time of need.

Friends are invited to gather for visitation at McCulla Funeral Home on Monday, October 16th from 11-1 pm. At 1 pm a sharing of memories service will be held at the funeral home. In honoring Eddie’s legacy of being a Mountaineer fan, the family requests that those in attendance wear their Mountaineer Gear. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors conferred by Westover VFW #9916 and WVANG Military Honors, Camp Dawson.
