Gertrude Harriet “Skeeter” Martin, 57, of Dilliner, PA passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at her home. She was born in Morgantown on August 1, 1960 to the late Herbert Anthony Davies and Barbara Ellen Hardesty Davies.

Skeeter was a homemaker and enjoyed tending to the needs of her family. She also cooked at some places such as: Rose’s Restaurant, Mt. Morris Truck Stop, and Blue Horizon Flea Market, and did some personal care work for her friends.

Skeeter is survived by her husband, James Martin; sons James Michael Martin and his wife Tonya of Morgantown and Brenden Travis Martin of Dilliner, PA; a granddaughter Aubree Cherise Martin; sister Connie Davies Fisher; brother Robert “Bob” Davies.

In addition to her parents, Skeeter was preceded in death by her brothers James Davies and Clarence “Pete” Davies.

Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 10 am until the 12 pm funeral service with Pastor Paul Sisler officiating. McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation services after the service and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com
