Obituary of Margie J. Chisler

Margie J. Yost Chisler, 82 of Daybrook, WV, went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. She was born February 25, 1935 in Hundred, daughter of the late Mike and Lillian Yost.

Margie was a dedicated wife, mother, homemaker, friend, and a member of the Daybrook Church of Christ. She had a wonderful smile and a kind word for all.  Margie was very generous and giving of herself and time.  We are all truly blessed to have been a part of her life and she will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her son, Mark Chisler and wife Rita of Daybrook; their children, Angela Chisler and Brennen Chisler of Daybrook; and great granddaughter, Olivia Chisler of Daybrook; daughter, Shelley Pruett and husband Ron of Wilmot, SD; their children Gabriel Pruett of TX, Hayley DeBolt, and Holly DeBolt of CO; son, Mike Chisler and wife Angi of Daybrook; their children, Jordan, Zachary, Spencer, and Mojo Chisler all of Daybrook; and son, Matt Chisler and wife Lisa of Morgantown.

She is survived by a brother; Michael Yost of Franklin; and a sister, Peggy Williams and husband Stan of New Manchester; sisters-in-law, Maxine Yost of Wellsburg, PA and Katherine Staudacher of Youngstown, OH; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 30 years, Frank M. Chisler; daughter-in-law Lorie Chisler; brothers, Jack, Robert, Bernard and wife Delores, and Larry Yost; sister, Pauline Williams and husband Charles; and sister-in-law, Mary Yost. 

Friends may gather at Daybrook Church of Christ on Friday, August 18, from 11 am until 2 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Margie Chisler’s life. Burial will follow at Daybrook Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at the Mapleshire for their dedication and compassionate care.
