Obituary of Veda-Ann Colsmann

Veda-Ann Colsmann, age 58, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home.  She was born June 26, 1959 in Long Island, New York a daughter of the late Salvatore and Irene Amabile Rappa.

Veda was born and raised in Suffolk County, where she attended Bellport Senior High School and secretarial school. She went on to work for the American Red Cross and as a CNA in Morgantown, WV. She found great joy in cooking and baking, loved reading and swimming and spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife, sister and daughter.

Veda-Ann is survived by one daughter, Lauren Gaus and husband Tony of Transfer, PA, and one son Lee Paul Colsmann and fiancée Katherine Hale of Morgantown.

She was preceded in death by her best friend and spouse Lee Colsmann and three brothers.

Private services were held at McCulla Funeral Home.
