Christian Jessica Brooks, age 30, passed away, Friday, January 20, 2017. Christian was born in Morgantown on July 26, 1986, a daughter of John and Kelley McDade Brooks of Morgantown. Christian attended MHS and also UHS where she graduated in 2004 with honors. She was very active in school being a cheerleader and in Drama Club. She started two clubs during her years at UHS; Fellowship of Christian Teens and the Model United Nations Club which she continued throughout her college years. She later graduated from WVU with honors with a degree in Communications and was also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. Christian’s infectious smile and warm personality allowed her to win several pageants including, Miss Monongalia County, Miss Morgantown, Miss Parkersburg, and Miss Randolph County. In addition to her parents, Christian is survived by her daughter and light of her life, Parker Madison Brooks; sister, Avonlea Gabrielle Brooks; loving aunts, Rhonda Marshall, Kimberly Barnett and husband Barry, and Patricia McDade; and several cousins. Friends may gather at Kingdom Evangelical Methodist Church, 540 Fairmont Road, Westover, on Wednesday, February 1, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service with Rev.
