Mary Ellen Mullins, age 86, of Morgantown, went to join the Lord and her husband of 67 years on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Mapleshire Nursing Home. Mary was born in Morgantown, on April 14, 1930, a daughter of the late Albert and Isabella Fullem Williams. Mary was co-owner, alongside her husband Hershel, of Morgantown Ambulance Service. After retirement, they enjoyed traveling in their motor home. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Mary is survived by her daughter, Joyce Tennant and husband John of Morgantown; son, Hershel R. Mullins and wife Ida of Cheat Lake; brother, Albert E. Williams and wife Mary of Reminderville, OH; grandchildren, Hershel R. “H.R.” Mullins, Christopher W. “C.W.” Mullins, Jerod Tennant, and Jodi Weddington; great grandchildren, Alexis Tennant, Delaney Weddington, Liam Hershel Mullins, and Brogan Weddington; sisters-in-law, Margaret Addair of Cedar Bluff, VA, Shirley Adkins of Sandusky, OH, and Virgie Lee Jones, Lebanon, VA; brother-in-law, Ulysses “Pee Wee” Mullins of Morgantown; and a special niece, Betty Jo Glendening of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Hershel” Mullins; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Marko. Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 11, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will take place at McCulla Funeral Home on Thursday at 11 am with Pastor Tim Haring officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Mausoleum.
